Applicants

Dyersburg Housing Authority appreciates your interest in applying for housing. The Waiting List is open for Dyersburg, Newbern, Trimble, Ridgely, Halls, Kenton, Troy, and Friendship. You may apply for the city or county of your choice. An application will be mailed upon request by calling our office at 731-285-6771 during normal business hours.

After the application is received in the office, a DHA representative will contact you for an interview and additional instructions. It is important that you complete the application with a valid mailing address, current phone number(s) and contact information.

The following documents are required to determine eligibility for housing:

1. Government issued photo identification for all household members 18 years or older.
2. Social Security cards for all household members.
3. Birth certificates for all household members.
4. Proof of income for all household members.

DHA will notify you upon the determination of your eligibility. It will be your responsibility to supply any additional information or documentation requested by the Leasing Clerk to proceed with your housing assistance.
