PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Residents are responsible for keeping the yard, curbs, sidewalks, and common areas free and clear of toys, bicycles, vehicles, lawn furniture, trash, garbage cans, grills, and any other personal items. All outside items should be moved to the porch or taken inside your apartment. Vehicles must be parked in driveways or on the street. Any furnishings you use outdoors must be made to be used outside, or they must be kept inside your unit. Also, personal items leaning against the building must be moved in order for the contractor to mow and trim.  DHA is NOT responsible for damage to your personal property.

BBQ grills and smokers should NEVER be stored inside your apartment due to the risk of fire. Grills and smokers are not to be used within 10 feet of any DHA building. All coals and embers must be completely extinguished, and the grill must be cool prior to storage.

DHA pays for your household trash to be picked up by the city sanitation department.  You must place your bagged household trash in the provided receptacle and follow the guidelines established by the city sanitation department.

Large items will NOT be picked up by the city sanitation department on DHA property.  Do NOT place any of these items on the curb or DHA property.  It is your responsibility to dispose of furniture, tires, TVs, boxes, mattresses, and other unwanted items to avoid charges to you.  DHA does NOT pick up your trash or other discarded items.  Please call the office for additional information at 731-285-6771.
